The central committee of governing party SYRIZA has arranged to convene on Saturday, ahead of the upcoming conference. Prime Minister and party leader Alexis Tsipras will open the conference with a speech at 10am, while the conference is scheduled to conclude at 9pm.
SYRIZA’s party-wide conference will take place between the 13th and 16th of October, where the party members will discuss the country’s major problems and plans to overcome the crisis.
According to recent statements by PM Tsipras at the Thessaloniki International Fair, the improvement of government efforts will also be high up on the conference agenda.
