Critical privatizations of Egnatia Odos and Elliniko under way

The tender for the privatization of the Egnatia Odos motorway is expected to be announced by the end of next, claim sources from the TAIPED cited by the Athens-Macedonia News Agency.

Meanwhile the contract for the privatization of the former airport site at Elliniko will be submitted in Parliament for ratification. Both privatization projects are essential for the first review and disbursement of the 2.8 billion euro tranche.

Finally, the TAIPED sources revealed that there is interest from Italian railway companies for OSE’s rolling stock company. The deadline for submitting offers in the 30^th of September.
