The Chairman of the Eurogroup Jeroen Dijsselbloem estimated that the Eurozone Finance Ministers may meet as early as next week to discuss the latest Greek developments, adding that there are legal and political issues that have yet to be resolved.

I don’t have a deadline, although there is a sense of urgency that we all share, so we’ll have to see whether it can be next week or ultimately the week after” commented the Eurogroup chief, following a meeting with Michel Sapin in Paris.

Meanwhile Germany’s Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Finance Jens Spahn expressed his confidence that an agreement will be met, noting that “it always needs some kind of a high noon when it comes to Greece […]but I am quite sure we’ll come to an agreement”.
