The former General Secretary of Social Insurance Giorgos Romanias has announced that he will be joining the Popular Union, the party formed by Panagiotis Lafazanis after leaving SYRIZA.
Mr. Romanias formally submitted his resignation from his government post on Wednesday, underlining that he was unable to remain in place after the ratification of the recent bailout measures.
