The Ministry of Finances and the Bank of Greece have decided to increase the limitations on funding imports from 100,000 euros per day to 150,000 euros.

This decision, which is expected to be published in the next issue of the government gazette, means that each bank customer will be able to use up to 150,000 euros per day for imports.

Additionally, the relevant decision will include an increase of cumulative limits from 3.4 to 5 million euros for each of the systemic banks, and increase of funding approved from bank subcommittees from 15 to 22 million euros worth of transactions per day.
