The counter-terrorism police have arrested two men in Kalamata, who are suspected of being accomplices of the recently recaptured Christodoulos Xiros.

The two men – a 54-year-old Greek and a 37-year-old Albanian – are currently being interrogated by the counter-terrorism police and will later be taken to the prosecutor, where charges will be addressed against them.

The 54-year-old Greek man is reported to be a former police officer, who had allegedly been associated with criminal gangs. The Albanian man appears to be the person who rented the home that Christodoulos Xiros was using in Anavyssos.

It also appears that there were outstanding warrants for the 37-year-old’s arrest, following the investigations that took place at the two hideouts.
