The General Secretariat of Public Revenue has announced that debts towards the tax services increased by 1.5 billion euros during November, raising the total tax debts to about 11.833 billion euros.
This 1.5-billion-euro increase is rather significant, given that that many taxes were due (ENFIA, income tax etc), while more taxes are due in by the end of December, such as road tax.
Additionally the General Secretariat announced that the “effective” overdue debt – which is considered more likely to be collected since it does not include fines or forfeiture of loan guarantees – amounted to 7.2 billion euros.
