The counter-terrorism police is examining a USB a stick which was located in Exarchia on Monday, which is said to contain a declaration regarding the recent bomb attack against the offices of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV).
So far no group has claimed responsibility for the bomb attack, which seriously damaged the entrance of the building where the SEV offices are housed and the adjacent hotel.
Police suspect that the a new generation of militant groups may have emerged to fill the void left by groups such as the Revolutionary Struggle and Conspiracy of Fire Cells, which are largely believed to be non-operational, as many of their members have been apprehended.
