A Naja Ashei, a newly discovered giant spitting cobra measuring nearly nine feet and carrying enough venom to kill at least 15 people, is seen in this picture released by WildlifeDirect December 7, 2007. Σεφ στην Κίνα πέθανε από δάγκωμα αποκεφαλισμένης κόμπρας.
Ο Peng Fan ετοίμαζε σούπα με το σώμα της κόμπρας και αφού έκοψε το κεφάλι της για την παρασκευή του φαγητού, 20 λεπτά μετά το κεφάλι του φιδιού τον δάγκωσε.
Δεν πρόλαβε να λάβει το αντίδοτο και πέθανε.
«Μπορούσαμε να ακούσουμε τις κραυγές από την κουζίνα» δήλωσαν πελάτες του εστιατορίου.
