With time running out and a critical Euro Working Group scheduled for Wednesday, the Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has arranged to travel to Brussels, at the invitation of European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.

The meeting between the two is expected to take place in the evening on Wednesday, while government sources reported that the Prime Minister and EC chief will discuss the Greek government proposal to conclude the negotiation.

Reports in Bloomberg and the Guardian indicate that Prime Minister Tsipras will also meet with the President of the Eurogroup Jeroen Dijsselbloem. The PM will be accompanied by the Alternate Minister of International Economic Relations Euclid Tsakalotos and State Minister Nikos Pappas.
