FYROM Prime Minister Zoran Zaev in a tweet today pledged to offer approximately 97,000 euros (six million denars) to Greece to handle the repercussions of the deadly wildfire.
“Our citizens with deep sadness were informed from the news about the great losses and the dead from the catastrophic fires in Greece, and in the area of Athens. We express our condolences to our friends the Greek people, and the deepest sorrow over the lost lives, and our support for all families who in this terrible tragedy lost relatives and friends,” Zaev said.

“In addition, the government has agreed to create a coordinating organ that will monitor on a daily basis the situation in Greece, and that will coordinate humanitarian aid, which we will agree to with the competent organisations in Greece and Athens.
