The government’s infamous tender for the television license is turning into a nightmare as the government’s narrative on vested interests collapses on a daily basis. The daily revelations on the way, procedures and under-the-table-deals with SYRIZA’s chosen one even forced Mr. Tsipras to later state that if any of the temporary license holders cannot justify their wealth, they will loose their license.

The government’s practice fully confirms the saying of Tsarouchis that “in Greece you are what you say you are”. That is the method they supposedly used to inspect the assets of the candidate television license owners, believing that they are dealing with cattle. As a result, we are looking for grazing fields and favored loans from the one and only Attica Bank.

With the Bank of Greece’s findings on the loans of the newly-established bankers at Attica Bank being forwarded to the prosecutor, even SYRIZA’s officers are unable to defend Mr. Pappas’ investors. That is why MPs and party officers are seeking for fresh money…

The government must not be deluded though, they will not rid themselves that easily from their chosen candidate. He is not the only problem, but rather their actions. The tender is morally, politically and legally questionable. The obvious target is to control the media and gag those who do not submit to their demands, as their unfolding plans reveal.
