The National Meteorological Service (EMY) has issued a warning for thunderstorms, hail and strong winds on Monday.
According to the statement the adverse weather effects will primarily affect western and northern sections of the country. From about midday on Tuesday EMY predicts that the weather conditions will improve, with clear skies expected on Wednesday and Thursday.
Some clouds and brief showers are expected on Friday, primarily in northern and western sections of Greece, with the weather growing increasingly erratic by Easter Sunday. The temperature will not exceed 24 degrees Celsius.
