Police officials announced that a total of 101 refugees landed on Greek islands in the past 24 hours, while 55 arrived on Monday.
The flow of refugees has been greatly reduced following the implementation of the controversial EU-Turkey agreement.
As such, human traffickers are now focusing on Italy, with the Italian Coast Guard having rescued 2,154 refugees in the past 24 hours south of Sicily.
