A bomb threat against the Greek-French school in Agia Paraskevi has turned out to be a prank, following a police inspection of the premises.

The school had been evacuated, following a threatening telephone call shortly after 8:00 on Thursday morning regarding a bomb planted on site.

Since the caller did not give any further information regarding the bomb and it has been over two hours since the call was made, it was believed early that it may have been a prank after all.

Nevertheless, the police launched an investigation and is inspected the school grounds, before giving the green light to resume teaching.
