The Electronic Crime Department of the Police announced that it managed to intervene and prevent the suicide attempts of two 12-year-old girls and a 65-year-old man, thanks to its Cyber Alter online platform.
According to the report, the Electronic Crime Department was informed of the intentions of the two minors to commit suicide, following a series of postings on social medial. The police managed to identify and locate the 12-year-old girls and contacted the father in time.
The police also managed to identify a 65-year-old man, who was believed to consider suicide. After the man was identified, the electronic crime department referred his details to the local police department, which in turn checked up on him and ensured he was in good health.
