The employees at the metro, electric railway and tram have announced a new 24-hour strike for Sunday, the 15th of November, so that the employees may participate in the general meeting of STASY, the urban rail transport company, at 11:00.
According to the employee union, the government is planning new wage cuts,on top of the inequalities caused by the deconstruction of the pension system. The union has also denounced the politically-appointed company leadership, which “has served ideologies that have been judged and condemned by the Greek people for months”.
