The Minister of Economy Giorgos Stathakis argued that a political solution must be sought out in order to provide protection against the auctions of primary residences, in a radio interview for Real FM.
“It is true that there as been progress on all matters – there are matters that need to close, but that is possible – and the major thorn that remains is the distance [of opinion] on the protection of primary residences” he noted.
According to the Economy Minister “the negotiation carried out with the institutions these days has ‘closed its cycle’… therefore a political decision must be made”.
