The spokesman for the European Commission Margaritis Schinas commented on Monday that political will alone is “not enough” at the present stage.
Furthermore, Mr. Schinas urged the Greek government to carry out reforms immediately, in order to restore funding towards Greece.
The call from Mr. Schinas came a few hours prior to the scheduled meeting between Alexis Tsipras and Angela Merkel in Berlin, where the Greek PM will present a list of reforms in line with the agreement of the 20th of February.
