The president of the Independent Greeks Panos Kammenos commented that “amidst a climate of fear the people chose hope and independence; the people elected a new political reality”.
Mr. Kammenos underlined that his party “will help stabilize this new reality” and added that the Independent Greeks “are a necessary good for the nation”, in order to promote progress and hope.
He concluded that it is time for everyone to assume responsibility and that “we must be patriots and serve the national interest”.
