Alexis Tsipras’ SYRIZA is currently preparing two legislative bills in order to provide immediate relief and address the humanitarian crisis, as well as to help boost the economy.

These two bills, according to the weekend edition of Ta Nea, are going to be submitted soon after SYRIZA forms a government. The measures are intended to help vulnerable social groups that have been mostly affected by the austerity-driven bailout policies, such as the destitute, unemployed, uninsured and low pensioners.

The measures that SYRIZA will introduce will allow the settlement of tax and insurance obligations without limiting the number of installments. SYRIZA also plans to abolish custody for debts towards the state. Furthermore, SYRIZA’s bill will also disallow banks from selling loans to foreign funds.
