The winter sales season is set to begin on Monday the 12th of January and will last until Saturday, the 28th of February.
During the sales season stores will open on Sunday the 18th of January, with the Athens Trade Association suggesting stores operate between 11am and 6pm.
Shoppers must be vigilant about potential scams, as both the old and new prices must be clearly labeled on sale goods. Alternatively, stores can also include the discount rate.
