The police investigations for hideouts of Nikos Maziotis continue, with the authorities reporting that an apartment in Marousi may have been used by the apprehended urban guerilla. The landlord of the apartment on Ypsilantou Street in the northern suburb in Athens contacted the police after Maziotis’ picture was publicized in the media following his arrest.
According to the landlord Maziotis appears to have rented the apartment under a different name about two years ago and resided there with his partner Paula Roupa and their four-year-old child. The landlord also reported that Roupa has dyed her hair blonde and Maziotis always wore a wig.
At present counter-terrorism police and officers from the bomb disposal department are currently searching the apartment in search for clues.
