The owner of a second-floor apartment in Kallithea made a grim discovery on Tuesday morning, when he went to inspect his property and came across a human body hidden inside a fridge freezer.
Authorities announced that the body belongs to a 65-year-old retired seaman, who was reported missing about six months ago. The apartment had been rented to other Bulgarian nationals, who disappeared without paying rent.
The grim discovery was made when the apartment owner and bailiff went to inspect the apartment. The police has launched an investigation.
