The owner of barn near the village of Glyki in Thesprotia came across a grim discovery on Monday, when he found the decapitated body of a man in his property.
According to the police, the head had been violently cut off with a sharp implement, which has yet to be recovered. It is believed that the victim is a 25-year-old Albanian man who worked as a shepherd in the area.
An investigation has been launched by the police authorities of Igoumenitsa.
