Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann are scheduled to travel to Mytilene on Tuesday, where they will visit refugee reception and identification centers. The two will also discuss expanding bilateral cooperation towards managing the refugee flows, within the EU framework.

Earlier on Saturday, PM Tsipras and Chancellor Faymann discussed the refugee crisis with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. According to a Greek government statement, the three leaders agreed to increase cooperation, with Austria and Germany pledging to support Greece, both financially and with staff.
