The Minister of Interior Panagiotis Kouroumplis referred to the need for ‘mutual understanding’ in the relationship between the Church and the State, in an interview for the Parapolitika radio station.
In his radio interview, Mr. Kouroumplis recognized that the Church is a major institution for the country which has done a lot during the crisis to support the vulnerable. He expressed his belief that all matters related to the Church must be announced in coordination and after discussion.
