The general worker confederation GSEE has announced that the national general collective labor agreement of 2014 has been extended until the end of 2015, after reaching an agreement will employer groups.

In its statement, GSEE argues that it pursued the extension of the agreement in light of the bailout commitments “which loom above the head of workers like sword of Damocles”.

GSEE further notes that the restoration of minimum wages and free collective bargaining are fixed and permanent requests, which it will discuss at Tuesday’s meeting with the Minister of Labor and other social partners.
