The ambitious plan to relocate 120,000 refugees within the European Union was approved by a large majority in Brussels on Tuesday evening. The decision however was not unanimous, reflecting the division within the EU on such a controversial and sensitive issue.
The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary voted against the proposal, while Finland decided to abstain from the vote.
