The exceptional recruitments, contract renewals and appointments that were carried out, after being approved by the State Council, during the election campaign period were over 48,000. The State Council also approved the recruitment of 2,135 contract workers, at the request of ministries, local authorities and public entities.
Among those recruited are 1,549 physical education teachers who have been hired for 8 months as part of the “exercise for everyone” program, 220 former municipal employees who will be diverted to refugee and asylum services, 128 employees who will staff Finance Ministry’s training units and 51 music teachers.
