Safe conclusions regarding the electoral result cannot be drawn by the exit poll results that have been broadcast, argued New Democracy officers, who cite the high voter abstention rates.
When asked to comment on the exit poll result, New Democracy’s Kyriakos Mitsotakis told Mega Channel “that nobody can say with any certainty which party will come first”.
Many within New Democracy have stressed that despite the estimations that the September 2015 elections would be a “walk in the park” for SYRIZA, the elections appears to be a derby. They added that “as it seems New Democracy is the safe guarantor of the country’s course”.
