Koutsoumpas: “Charter flights to help refugees reach their destinations”

The General Secretary of the Communist Party of Greece Dimitris Koutsoumpas contacted the caretaker Prime Minister Vasiliki Thanou in order to discuss urgent matters in relation to the refugee influx on the Aegean islands

Reportedly Mr. Koutsoumpas told the Prime Minister that measures must be taken immediately to provide the necessary relief.

Furthermore, Mr. Koutsoumpas asked for the Prime Minister to charter flights and ferries, with the responsibility of the EU, to assist the refugees in reaching their destinations.
