The Appeal Court Prosecutor Panagiotis Brakoumatsos has received the case file regarding the 1.65 million euros that was located in the Catalina off shore that allegedly belongs to LAOS president Giorgos Karatzaferis.
According to the case file, two off shores that are said to belong to Mr. Karatzaferis appear to have received funds to the tune of 6.6 million euros, which may bribes.
The prosecutor will examine the file and determine whether to press felony charges against Mr. Karatzaferis for violating the asset declaration process, legislation regarding off shores and money laundry.
The money laundry charge is a result of a bribe that Mr. Karatzaferis allegedly received in relation to the purchase of Super Puma helicopters for the Greek Armed Forces.
