The detained Golden Dawn MP Ilias Kasidiaris was taken to Parliament under heavy police guard from the Korydallos Prison, in order to attend the discussion regarding his parliamentary immunity lift in relation to the Baltakos scandal.
Kasidiaris, along with the majority of Golden Dawn’s parliamentary group, has been detained in relation to the investigation into the neo-Nazi party’s criminal activities, which was prompted after a number of high-profile murders and crimes involving party members and supporters.
The immunity lift is being discussed as the neo-Nazi party MP is accused of secretly video-tapping the former secretary of the Ministerial Council and personal consultant of the Prime Minister, Takis Baltakos.
