New Democracy’s parliamentary group spokesman Adonis Georgiadis revealed that he would vote for philanthropist Marianna Vardinogianni for President, when asked on a Tuesday-evening show on ANT1.
Mr. Georgiadis praised the philanthropic efforts of Mrs. Vardinogianni in healthcare, particularly with the Elpida charity. He added that he would not vote for Gianna Angelopoulou though, noting that he “cannot understand how a billionaire wants to become a communist, that is not possible”.
