The European Commission has published its latest updates on the Economic Sentiment Indicator in the Eurozone and European Union and found that the climate has improved in Greece in November.
Specifically, the European Commission’s data shows how the index climbed from 99.3 units in September to 102.2 in October and 102.7 in November. This increase has been attributed to the increased expectations in services, retail and industry. Consumer trust also trust and went from -50.9 units in October to -49.9 in November.
Overall, the economic sentiment in Europe was “broadly stable”, with the Eurozone index marking a marginal improvement (from 100.7 in October to 100.8 in November), while the EU index dropped from 104.2 units in October to 104.1 in November.
