The Hellenic Navy’s Underwater Demolition Team reported that it has successfully disposed of eight hand grenades which had been located off the coast of Kalamos in Attica.
According to the announcement, the hand grenades had been discovered about 15 meters away from the shoreline and at a depth of about 2.5 to 3 meters.
The Central Port Authority of Halkida also reported that it took all necessary safety measures at land and sea for the disposal operation.
