The controversial issue of German reparations has seemingly brought together Greek MEPs, who decided to convene in Brussels in order to coordinate a strategy in the European Parliament. As expected, Golden Dawn’s MEP did not participate in the discussion for obvious reasons, while the Communist Party has decided to follow its own line.

The meeting saw New Democracy’s MEPs Manolis Kefalogiannis and Giorgos Kyrtsos joined by Dimitris Papadimoulis, Manolis Glezos, Sofia Sakorafa and Giorgos Katrougalos from SYRIZA, Nikos Androulakis from PASOK, Giorgos Grammatikakis from The River and Notis Marias from ANEL.

The ultimate goal was to discuss their proposals and come to an agreement in order to present a complete proposal to the European Parliament regarding the German debt to Greece from WWII.
