Independent MP Spyros Lykoudis appeared on SKAI’s morning program, where he discussed his recent departure from DIMAR and his intention to form another party.
When asked whether he would join an existing party, Mr. Lykoudis responded that he is “no ‘Ronaldo’ in politics to get transferred” nor is he “a lone rider”. Mr. Lykoudis explained that when the time is right he will form a new political movement, noting that “there is no strong center left, nor does SYRIZA have a wide horizon”.
Regarding his former party DIMAR, the MP stressed that he had great expectations and hopes of the party, but conceded that the pasty has followed a dead-end path and that for the past year and a half it has not made an impression”. Mr. Lykoudis repeated his intention to vote, under certain conditions, for a President in the upcoming election.
