The police announced that after several months of investigations it arrested a 47-year-old Greek expatriate from the former Soviet Union as a suspect in two murders in Thrace and Athens.
The 47-year-old man has been accused of participating in a series of kidnappings – mostly of Roma gypsies – which were related to narcotics cases.
Furthermore, the police revealed that the 47-year-old man is implicated in at least 10 armed robberies and scores of thefts.
