The Government Vice President Evangelos Venizelos will present a series of proposals on employment at the Monday-morning meeting of the Government Employment Council.
The Council, which was formed at the request Of Mr. Venizelos, is scheduled to convene at 10pm on Monday. Mr. Venizelos is rumored to present a series of actions in order to create 750,000 new jobs in the tourist and energy sectors, among others, by strategically using NSRF funds.
Amongst Mr. Venizelos rumored proposals is the implementation of an employment clause in every government action related to growth and development. Following the meeting, the PASOK leader is expected to meet with the Minister of Finances Gikas Hardouvelis.
