The public debt management organization ODDIH announced that on Tuesday, the 12th of August, it will carry out an auction of three-month treasury bills worth one billion euros.
According to the announcement the auction will also be open to private individuals, who will be able to acquire the titles tax-free, provided they retain them until they mature.
Additionally, private individuals may only acquire up to 15,000 euros worth of treasury bills. The price of the bonds will be determined by the cut-off price.
Alternatively, individuals will be able to acquire titles within five days of the settlement date (up to and including Monday, the 25th of August), for unlimited sums, but at the prices set by bans and brokerage firms.
