The convicted leader of the 17 November militant group Alexandros Giotopoulos appears determined to begin a hunger strike, should he be not transferred to the prison facility in Korydallos.
In a letter sent to the Ethnos newspaper, Giotopoulos argues that four months after the “Type C” prison facilities were abolished he remains in Domokos, where he claims there is no security.
According to Giotopoulos, he has been violently assaulted ten times in recent years because he was the only one to denounce the 17N trials of 2004.
