The Athens Stock Exchange closed with gains once again on Tuesday, reflecting the optimism after the government and its creditors reached an agreement.
At closing the general price index stood at 705.00 points, up by 2.14%, with transactions so far valued at 61.70 million euros and the yield of the ten-year bond dropped to 10.31%.
The banking sector continued to grow, with the shares of the National Bank of Greece up by 4.96%, Piraeus Bank up by 1.22% and Eurobank up by 6.35%, while Alpha Bank dropped by 2.96%.
