The Ministry of Finances has fully confirmed a reported in the Sunday edition of To Vima, according to which Korean consultant Glen Kim is to be paid 125,000 euros per month for his services.

According to a government non-paper, the company for which Mr. Kim works has not yet received any payment, much less the 125,000 alleged in the Vima report, as “there was no way to do so”, suggesting it was a technical matter. The Ministry did not directly dispute the alleged wages.

Furthermore, the non-paper argues that the Korean consultant is experienced in international negotiations and that he was recruited in order to help provide the best possible agreement. The non-paper concludes that the company for which he works will be paid via the statutory procedures.
