After three consecutive sessions with loses since reopening on Monday, the Athens Stock Exchange closed with major gains on Thursday.
Upon closing the general price index in Athens stood at 666.68 points, up by 3.65%, with transactions valued at 74.06 million euros. The yield of the ten-year bond is currently at 11.90%.
The banking sector bounced back, with the shares of the National Bank (+27.47%), Piraeus Bank (3.62%), Eurobank (17.31%) and Alpha Bank (+11.61%) making up for some of their loses in the previous days.
There was also a lot interest for the shares of OPAP (+9.28%), OTE (+2.53%), DEI (+6.53%) and the Mytilineos Group (+2.69%).
