New Democracy MP Makis Voridis announced that he is considering running for his party’s leadership, following the resignation of Antonis Samaras on Sunday evening.

Mr. Voridis told ANT1 that anyone can run for party presidency, however there were certain ‘parameters’ he wanted to consider before taking such a decision.

Meanwhile the District Governor of Peloponnesus Petros Tatoulis has announced that he intends to run for the party’s leadership, in a written statement regarding the referendum result, which he characterized a “historic decision”.
