The parliamentary spokesman for PASOK and former party leader Evangelos Venizelos has lashed out against Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras in an article for Ta Nea, accusing of contradictions, lies, cynicism and opportunism.

In his article Mr. Venizelos underlines that the “no” which the government is asking for in the referendum on the 5th of July is a “no to responsibility, no to common sense, no to Europe, no to the euro, no to security and stability, no to the country’s historic acquis”.

The former PASOK leader holds the government Prime Minister personally responsible “for passing on to the Greek people the burden of a choice that the government undermined and made difficult for the past five months”.

He concluded his article underlining that a “no” on Sunday will be a no “without prospects, without a proposal for the next day”, that it will be “irresponsible, blind and ostensible” and result to overall degradation of the country.
