A ministerial council meeting was held in Paris under French President Francois Hollande early on Monday morning, in order to discuss the latest dramatic developments in Greece.
On his way out from the meeting, the French President told reporters that he believes that negotiations could resume, provided Greece wishes to do so, adding that an agreement is possible.
Mr. Hollande further explained that France is always prepared to resume negotiations immediately. He noted that an agreement is still possible today, however tomorrow it will depend on how the Greek people will vote in Sunday’s referendum.
The French President warned that Greece’s position in the Eurozone is at stake and that the Greek people must decided whether they want to stick with the euro or not.
