New Democracy’s Dora Bakoyanni was the third opposition MP to visit Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Tuesday morning, following the leaders of the River and PASOK.

Mrs. Bakoyanni met with the Prime Minister for about an hour and had a long discussion regarding the progress of negotiations with the country’s creditors. During their meeting,

The veteran New Democracy officer underlined that they have an obligation to keep Greece within the Eurozone and stressed the need to conclude the negotiations. “It is an extremely critical hour, the battle must fought with national accord and rallying” she added.

Finally, Mrs. Bakoyanni commented that the Greek people’s mandate is to negotiate a solution within the euro.
